Transforming Healthcare Value Analysis with VAMS®Client OverviewData Leverage Group (DLG) is a healthcare technology company dedicated to improving supply chain performance and decision-making within hospitals and healthcare systems. Their flagship product, VAMS® (Value Analysis Management Software), provides hospitals with the tools to centralize data, collaborate across departments, and streamline the product evaluation process. With nearly 100 hospitals nationwide using VAMS®, the platform plays a critical role in reducing costs and improving patient outcomes.

The Challenge
DLG needed two major digital initiatives to position VAMS® as a trusted, enterprise-grade SaaS platform:
  1. A public-facing website that clearly explained the value of VAMS®, attracted qualified leads, and supported ongoing SEO and content growth.
  2. A fully modernized user interface (UI) for the VAMS® application itself — one that simplified navigation, improved usability, and aligned with DLG’s brand identity.
In addition, DLG required ongoing technical support for hosting and infrastructure, ensuring seamless uptime and performance as their customer base expanded.

The company’s previous digital presence did not fully reflect the sophistication of the software or the expertise behind it. The web content was limited, the UI lacked visual hierarchy, and there was no unified brand experience between the website and the platform.

Our Approach
Digital Media Design, Inc. was engaged to develop a complete digital transformation strategy — uniting branding, web design, SaaS UI development, and content strategy under one cohesive vision.
Our approach focused on three core objectives:
  1. Establish a professional, high-performing public website that communicated the unique value of VAMS®.
  2. Redesign the internal SaaS user interface to enhance usability and streamline workflows for healthcare professionals.
  3. Deliver reliable hosting support and performance monitoring to maintain stability as the platform scaled.

1. WordPress Website Design & Development
We designed and developed a custom WordPress website for Data Leverage Group that balanced professionalism with simplicity. The goal was to make complex software concepts understandable and appealing to non-technical hospital administrators and decision-makers.

The site’s structure was organized around VAMS®’ core benefits: workflow efficiency, team collaboration, data-driven decision-making, and cost reduction. Clean typography, brand-consistent colors, and modern iconography helped reinforce the software’s credibility.

We integrated conversion-focused design elements including a clear “Request a Demo” call-to-action on every page, downloadable PDF resources, and an expanding blog series that positioned DLG as a thought leader in healthcare value analysis.

The entire site was SEO-optimized, using carefully researched key phrases such as healthcare value analysis, hospital supply chain management, and value analysis software. As a result, VAMS® quickly began climbing in organic search rankings, competing directly with larger healthcare technology providers.

2. SaaS UI Design & Development
In parallel with the website build, we worked directly with the DLG software team to modernize the VAMS® user interface.
Our role included:
  • Designing a responsive, clean layout system that simplified data visualization and user workflows.
  • Enhancing the navigation structure to reduce click depth and improve speed to insight.
  • Developing a consistent visual language — icons, button states, typography, and color hierarchy — to create a seamless experience between the website and the software itself.

3. Technical Support & Hosting Infrastructure
Beyond design and development, we provided technical support and server management to ensure DLG’s growing platform remained stable and secure.

  • Setting up and maintaining optimized WordPress hosting for the public website.
  • Coordinating with the SaaS hosting provider to monitor uptime and troubleshoot connectivity issues between client hospitals and the VAMS® platform.
  • Managing DNS configuration, SSL certification, and performance caching to deliver fast, reliable page loads and protect sensitive data.
  • Implementing Google Analytics and Search Console tracking, enabling DLG to monitor engagement metrics, SEO performance, and conversion funnels.
